Location:
El Carmen is an historic Chiquita neighborhood located in the heart of the beach town of Puerto Armuelles, Panama. It is a short walk to downtown, with all amenities and activities, and just steps from the sandy "Silver City" beach. Most homes in this barrio are nearly 100 years old and many are in a state of needing repair. Rarely do they come up for sale or rent. When they do, investors are on the look-out to fix and flip them. This home is newly constructed of modern materials and ready to go! Once the pier is completed and tourism begins to progress, this will be among the hottest areas downtown. It reminds me of downtown Kona or Ventura beach many years ago, with eclectic homes and businesses coming together with a walk-able beach vibe. The home has 2 floors. On the first floor is a large open concept kitchen, dining area, and living room. There is a guest bathroom and the kitchen has all new, high quality, appliances included. Decorative security bars are on all the doors and windows. The entire downstairs area is light and bright with a very open feel. A stairway of strong metal and beautiful wood leads to the second floor. On the top floor there is a decorative metal doorway that leads to a back balcony. Here, there is an ocean view and cool breezes passing by. NOTE: there is only one house between this house and the beach. Currently, it is a 2-story house, but there are plans to tear it down and build a new one-story house. This will open up the ocean view from the back balcony tremendously! Upstairs are 2 bedrooms with a Jack & Jill bathroom that has double sinks and mirrors. An all-in-one paneling in the shower makes for easy clean
