Location: San Felipe, San Felipe, Panama
Casco Antiguo is the old quarter of Panama City, founded in 1673 after the original Pacific settlement (Panama Viejo) was sacked by pirate Henry Morgan. It was the center of Panamanian life until the 1930s, when Casco Antiguo declined as Panama’s upper crust moved to the suburbs. UNESCO atributed Casco Viejo with a World Heritage Site designation in 1998 which caused an era of revitalization by government, entrepreneurs and international organizations. The Hotel Colombia building is located in Plaza Bolivar next to the National Theather and San Francisco de Asis Church, it's surrodings being the most restored in Casco Viejo next to several restaurants which oversee the Plaza. The building has a beautiful roof top social area with a pool overlooking the Panama City skyline, Plaza Bolivar and the San Francisco de Asis Church. Be part of history in this once in a lifetime opportunity.
